Tartan Ridge First Floor Update

What a transformation!  I got the privelage of working with this darling family who were looking to update the spaces within their first floor.

Open concept living spaces are very popular but I find people struggle with defining each space.  Check out how we brightened and defined their family room and eating nook.

This family room update was a complete overhaul.  New paint, furniture, widow treaments, pillows and accessories.  We replaced the sectional with a Louis Style sofa, a pair of gray leather chairs and oversized tufted ottoman.  I chose to float the sofa so that the family room had a more defined space.  Looking for a inexpensive way to create a feature wall?  A two toned stripe adds the perfect pop of whimsy.

This quatrefoil mirror was the perfect addtion to their existing console.  It brightens up the space and brings visual interest.

The homeowners love to entertain and were looking for a way to display some of their china and other items.  We paired two curio cabinets from World Market, chevron curtains to bring in the yellow and fun accents with texture to add inside the cabinets.  These came just in time to host their first Thanksgiving with extended family!
